Summer Adventures: Part 2

I'm excited to share about the rest of our trip in Nebraska! We went to the Omaha Zoo one day and had a great time. It was a long, hot day but everyone enjoyed it!

This water globe was a favorite with all the kids!
A much needed ice cream snack

Water is always fascinating
James pushing his cousin John Paul
John's first trip to the zoo was a success!
Another fun adventure we went on was a trip to the Lincoln Children's Museum. I worked here during college so it was a trip down memory lane! It was so fun to watch James and his cousins explore.
James is a cautious observer. He takes as much time as he needs to observe his surroundings and watch other kids play. He doesn't rush into things. But then after a bit he dives in! He spent about 15 minutes watching kids play in the ambulance. I could tell he wanted to go in but wasn't too sure. Then after some time he finally took the leap! It's fun to watch his personality emerge.

Playing catch with Grandpa
As always James found his favorite area--water play!
It was refreshing to be in a place that was totally for the kids. They could touch everything and there wasn't anything that was off limits.
The CRANE kids!
Here are a few final pictures of our time in Lincoln. We had such a wonderful week with all the cousins!

Happy 4th of July!
