This Christmas was filled with blessings: staying at home (first time not traveling!); being with both sets of parents; John's first Christmas; and the joy of watching James filled with wonder and awe at so many things! Christmas lights, trees, snowmen, you name it!
My mom spent two months with us and dad joined us for the last few weeks. We enjoyed some great quality time!

| James decorated a cookie for daddy, can you tell which one it is? |
We enjoyed putting up our Christmas decorations and as always James was right there to help.

We put lights on the tree to begin with and put our ornaments on the week before Christmas. Every once and a while we would walk by the tree and see different things...James found his own ornaments to put on the tree!
John loved the Christmas tree as well! He learned to crawl a few weeks before we took it down so it wasn't too much of a temptation for him to get into it.

We hosted Christmas Eve at our house. James and John enjoyed the first round of presents!
Christmas morning was an exceptionally warm Alabama winter day! After Mass we went to the Rossers for the day and enjoyed some delicious food and more presents.
 |
| We caught John happy...for all the other pictures he wasn't too sure about it |
James was a little tired when we were opening presents so his enthusiasm wasn't too high but he got some help opening the gifts and was excited about his Paw Patrol toys!

John enjoyed the whole experience and was very excited about all the wrapping paper!
It was such a gift to spend this Christmas with our families and make memories with our boys!
