What an incredible journey we've been on! Thank you for all your prayers for us! We left Rome yesterday morning and spent the night in Montgomery, AL and are on our way home to Dubuque today. We counted up the flights to get to Rome and by the time we get home home tonight we’ll have been on 10 flights and about 28 hours in the air. This is quite the adventure, especially for someone who doesn’t like to fly (my dear husband.) But it has been worth every second of the traveling because Rome was wonderful! God filled every day with so many of his blessings and joys and we can't wait to share them with you! We plan to post whenever we get the chance but for now here are a few pictures (thanks to Tyler's dad who is an awesome photographer!)
We had a wonderful time with Tyler's parents, as well as getting to know the other people in the group. It was also a wonderful blessing to have a few of our FOCUS mission partners in the group! We all had a lot of laughs, quite a few tears, and will remember this trip forever.
