Go Bolts!

I love being a soccer wife. I think it's good practice for the future when I am a soccer mom. It'll be fun to have our little ones playing some day, but for now I am very content with watching my husband coach. He is an awesome coach. Lots of the parents comment to me that he is very devoted to the guys and they can tell he is very passionate about soccer. (In case you didn't know, Tyler is coaching the Junior Varsity team at our Catholic high school here in town.) The Pius Bolts played last night, today, and have a game on Monday. And why take Sunday off? Tyler signed up for an adult league in Lincoln on Sunday afternoons. So that means, after Monday I will have watched 5 plus hours of soccer. But I am coming to love the sport. It's very relaxing to watch, unless it comes down to the last minutes of the game. But for the last three games it has been very enjoyable. They have gone 10-0, 10-0, and 4-0. Last week Tyler said his dream was to have a shut-out. Congratulations my love! One down, lots more to go! I never imagined having a soccer coach/player as a husband, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

  1. I love that we're both soccer wives! And for the Raiders (Alex's team) it pretty much always comes down to the last couple minutes - today included :) At the game today there was a little boy, maybe 3 years old, with a floppy hat and a little soccer ball. It made me so excited for Michael to be old enough to run around and kick a ball!
