Summer is flying by. Having a baby in May, running VBS a month later, then flying to visit family in Nebraska has kept us a little busy. Oh, and Tyler started a graduate program at Notre Dame for Educational Leadership. Our lives are always an adventure.
My mom came to pick the boys and I up and take us back to Nebraska. We had a fun time flying. Both James and John did well on the flights and we have a couple stories to tell.
One of them being I got to sit in the cockpit. After we landed in Omaha we were the last people getting off the plane and the stewardess invited James to go into the cockpit. Even after the pilot invited him he wanted nothing to do with it.So John and I took them up on it. Pretty cool that not only did John have his first flight at one month, he also was in the cockpit!
We've spent our days enjoying being back home and playing outside as much as we can. James would stay outside all day if I let him. Just give him some sort of a ball and he's set.
He loves water play and discovered the fun of running through and playing with the sprinklers.
And we thought we were having fun but then the cousins arrived. Then the party really started! James can sure hold his own amidst his three boy cousins and he has a favorite in his cousin Colette! She gets extra smiles and kisses goodnight.
