Showers of Blessings: {two}

Happy August! This summer is flying by and we can't believe it's finally the month of our little one's birth! Here are several blessings of this past week!

I enjoyed going into the office with Tyler on Monday and Tuesday for a few hours. He has a really cool view of Orlando and in this picture you can see Universal Studios in the background. It still seems strange that we live within miles of Walt Disney World!

We had our hospital tour on Wednesday evening at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. They stressed how it's "all about the women and babies" and I think we'll be very well taken care of here! The picture is of the lobby and it feels more like a hotel than a hospital. It's exciting to picture where we'll be and thankfully the hospital is only about 25 minutes away from our apartment.

Speaking of babies, our friends Chris and Mirna had their baby on Monday this past week, Gianna Magdalena. Chris is a Director of Collegiate Outreach for FOCUS here in Orlando as well and it's such a blessing to have them here since we're all in the same boat: new job, new location, and new baby! Gianna and James will only be a few weeks apart and it'll be fun to see them grow up together!

We are so blessed to be at 38 weeks! I was at a store today and heard a women comment to her friend, "She's ready to go any minute!" That's how I look but we'll see when James decides to come! We're praying it's before the 20th, which is the date our doctor gave us for how long he'll go before an induction.

And finally, our friend Aly went on the Camino de Santiago this past month and brought back several gifts for us! It is very special since this is the Way of St. James and in addition to the beautiful rosaries and statue she got for us, we know she offered up countless prayers for us and our little James while she was on the pilgrimage!
